Don’t get ripped off by the big storage chains with endless rate increases (often 4-6 times per year!). At Budget Storage we are a family owned facility and only review rates once per year so you are guaranteed to have a great deal for as long as you have the unit!

No. All leases at Budget Storage are month-to-month, with a minimum one-full-month rental required. Store short-term or long-term — whatever fits your needs.

Most customers sign up for auto-pay (no extra charge) and rent plus sales tax is deducted on the first of each month from a credit or debit card. We also accept personal and business checks, money orders, and cash (in the office). Payments can be dropped in our secure lock box, mailed to our business office at 6449 Lake Trail Drive, Westerville, OH 43082, made over the phone by calling (614) 890-6073, or paid online at any time using the Pay My Bill button at the top of the site.

Any government-issued ID — driver's license, state ID, or passport — will work. Please bring it to your move-in / lease appointment.

Perishables, plants, animals, stolen or illegal goods, flammable or hazardous items, combustible materials, and liquids are prohibited. See our storage tips page for the full list.

You can move in any day between 6AM and 10PM. Staff are available during office hours (Mon-Sun 8am-8pm) — call us at (614) 236-1278 to set up your rental, and you can be moving in that same day.

All advertised move-in discounts are applied beginning on the date of your move-in and are pro-rated to the end of that calendar month.

Customers get access to the complex and their storage unit from 6AM to 10PM, 7 days per week. At lease signing you'll select a 6-digit gate code that opens our computerized gate system.

Yes — restrictions apply. Call the office to review your eligibility and the details.

Yes. We work with a third-party moving group that can pack your unit for you. They're experts at every part of moving and storage and charge less than half of what most movers do. Call our office for details.

All leases are month-to-month, with rent due on the 1st. We require at least 10 days' notice before the end of any month for move-out. Rent is not pro-rated during the move-out month.
